Announcements and Updates: Tim Tenhave stated that the next clean-up day has not yet been scheduled but will be scheduled in the near future.

Jim Taylor announced that there is a significant amount of new trash in the sand pit area and that he found negatives from pictures that were left at the scene. He will develop the pictures.

There was discussion about how we can reduce the amount of broken glass in the sand pit. It was agreed that more police presence would help encourage more responsible behavior.

Master Plan Review: The committee continued reviewing the draft master plan and made several modifications. Extended discussions involved moving the maps into the body of the text rather than placing them in the appendices, reworking the Abutting Neighborhoods sections, reorganizing the Physical Characteristics section, and expanding the wildlife section. It was decided to alphabetized lists such as the recommendations and current uses.

Mike Ruggiero stated that the wording on the management statement was unclear. It was decided to add discussion of this topic as an agenda item for the next meeting.

The Master Plan draft review will continue at the next meeting on 8/04/03.

Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:45 p.m.
